The church is dedicated to two Saints from Tarsus, modern-day Turkey, both 4th century martyrs: the little Quiriaqos, aged 3, and his mother Julitta. The church has ancient origins (6th century) and was restored in the late 15th century. Along the nave are two altars on each side; the second on the left has a 16th century canvas depicting Madonna the Protector, a replica of the Aracoeli icon. Its location in the middle of Saints Dominic and Catherine of Siena and the mystery of the Rosary, by Michelangelo Catoni in the 18th century has led to it being named the Madonna of the Rosary.
