Located in the public garden in the middle of the square, the fountain was built between 1927 and 1930 by the architect Raffaele de Vico and the sculptor Ermenegildo Luppi, during the construction of the Vittoria quarter. Inside a large octagonal pool, surrounded by paving decorated with mosaics in pebbles gravel, four small fountains emerge leaning against four columns with the insignias of the Fascist regime: three fasces with the Roman eagle on the top. Each fountain has an inclined plane constituted by five small vases from water comes out, flanked by two fish or sea monsters. On the rear, facing outwards, are another four small fountains for people to quench their thirst with water originating from the Vergine aqueduct.
