The entrance opens in a vast rectangular room destined to burials, divided into two parts and originally covered by a barrel vault. The galleries present tombs that were dig inside the floor (formae) and inside the walls; burial recesses, arcosoliums and characteristic Phoenician kokhim are there visible: tombs are perpendicular to the tunnels and there are more layers. Cubicles are visible there too: some of them are painted with flowers and animals but also with symbols of the Jewish religion as the Torah and the Menorah.
